General Information

Once the application is completed, print it out and mail it in along with the deposit listed below.

Our 5-day summer camp teaches campers about airplanes, flying, and missionary aviation.

Campers are housed, fed, and chaperoned the entire time.

The camp is for high schoolers age 14 to 18.

The camp is held at Arlington Municipal Airport, 45 miles north of Seattle.

The reduced cost is only $550 per camper for 2017!

Purpose

The purpose is to introduce teens to the exciting world of flying, provide a fun, challenging, and educational summer camp experience in a Christian environment, expose campers to the challenges of world evangelism in remote areas, and to aviation as a support ministry.

A maximum of 18 camper spots are available, so don’t delay! A waiting list will also be maintained once all spots are filled.

Please send a deposit of $100 with your application. For confirmed campers, the remaining $450 will be due by July 15th. Payment may be sent in installments, or all at once. Send application and deposit check to MATA at:

Daily flight experience, weather permitting – campers actually fly the plane, not just ride!

Ground school to prepare for flights.

Cross-country flight to an airport on the Olympic Peninsula, a fun flight navigation exercise.

Christian mentoring by field-experienced missionary pilots.

An off site time of recreation and a BBQ cookout!

In the event of poor flying weather campers may be provided a field trip to a local collection of vintage WWII aircraft or to the Boeing Flight Museum.
