Dear Board Members, Students and Volunteers,
This has been a tremendously busy summer but still extremely beneficial as well. We would like to inform you of the following events for the rest of the year so you can plan to attend accordingly. All of these events will preclude the normal MATA Bible study. Specifically, we will not have Bible study in the month of August because of all the activities instead we look forward to seeing you at these events so we can fellowship and celebrate together! J
Saturday, July 28
MATA 250 A motorcycle fundraiser to Wenatchee and back.
7 am Breakfast at MATA.
Midday Snacks will be flown to riders at a grass strip outside of Wenatchee.
6 pm Salmon Dinner and Program at MATA (Please try to attend to this part of the event.)
If you plan on attending, call Stacie immediately at 425-231-5855 so we can reserve food for you. The suggested donation for the evening meal is $10.
Friday, August 10 Sunday, August 12
Northwest Mission Aviation Fly-In, Newburg, OR A mission aviation fly-in at a private strip. Camping is available right next to the airstrip. Mission schools and mission organizations will display their booths. Special speakers and outdoor activities too.
Sunday, August 19 Saturday, August 25
Aviation Summer Camp, The Point Church Offices/MATA Sign ups are being taken NOW until July 31 for children 14 -18. If you know of any who might be interested in learning to fly and hearing about missions, please call Stacie at 425-231-5855.
Saturday, September 15 (10 am to 6 pm) and Sunday, September 16 (2 pm to 6 pm)
JAARS Missions at the Airport, MATA Hangar JAARS will be bringing staff from Waxhaw, NC to share their ministry with us. There will be displays to browse and Helio Courier rides to be had. Contact your churches and bring friends to share in the activities. May some be called to missions because of it!
Friday, October 12 Saturday, October 13
Seattle Missions Fest, Overlake Christian Church, Renton Two days of intense missions exposure. There will be mission booths, mission speakers and main speakers all there to encourage you in your call the Lord has for you! Come to hear Gary Elliott speak in one of the seminars and stop by the MATA booth while you are there!
